Yes, that's right. No turkey. Jenny and I went to Hometown Buffet, but the line to the turkey was so long I ended up with fried chicken. Wasn't too bad. I heard the lady behind me say to her husband and friends, "Well, it's certainly not Mother's turkey." Guess I made a good choice with the chicken.
Jenny and I then went to see "The Mist" by Stephen King. It was okay. Glad we didn't pay full price though. Hated the ending, but it reminded me of a sermon by Chip Ingram from this morning. Just when God is about to answer our prayers we give up too soon.
I'm getting ready to go lie down and try to catch a few hours of sleep before I have to go into work tonight. Heard it was a bad night last night. Hope we don't have a repeat tonight!
Gobble, gobble, gobble. : )

My First Posting
Okay, here I go with my first blog. At least that's what I think they call it. I have absolutely no idea what to write. I guess it doesn't matter because my son, Jonathon, is the only person who knows about my site. Today was my day, or should I say night, off from work. Didn't do too much. Worked some on the smocked nightgowns for Karen's nieces, then had to rip out the neckband. Is this blog getting interesting yet? lol lol. I don't have to work tonight so I'm in a pretty good mood. Bob is out of town so I get to kick back and be totally lazy today. Jenny and I haven't cooked a single meal since Bob left on Sunday. Oh wait, does nuking takeout food count as cooking? : ) Okay, that's about it for me. Will have to figure out how to post this to my site now.
Bye!
